This morning dawned cool and clear after two steamy soggy days, the sun shimmering on the river, the boats’ reflections splashing daubs of color onto the surface.

Ducks, 7:00 a.m.

While one would need to imagine the sound of the ducks calling to one another, I was able just to capture them with my inadequate–soon to be upgraded–camera.

My name is Marj Wilson. Recently I was asked how many times I had reinvented myself. I would need to go a long way back to answer that question. In the long ago 1950s, I was a fabric designer, dubbed one of the “Young Designers” of whatever year that was by a long defunct magazine–Living for Young Homemakers, if memory serves. (more…)
